BPC Banking Technologies holds seminar in Athens, Greece

BPC Banking Technologies, the leading provider of Open System e-payment solutions for the global financial industry, reports a seminar under the banner “A New Dawn Follows Every Sunset” was successfully held in Athens, Greece on October, 12, 2011. During the Seminar the delegates learned about the SmartVista alternative on HP NonStop.

The attendees – senior bankers from European, Asian-Pacific and Middle East banks – were provided with a comprehensive overview of the complete SmartVista suite as well as an outline of the major strategic issues facing existing users of BASE24 Classic as they consider a future migration.

Geoff Johnson, Financial Solution Sales Manager, HP NonStop Division EMEA, presented HP’s vision of a realistic and market proven alternative for the bankers in his presentation “HP NonStop: Simply the Platform for Payments”.

BPC’s executives provided details on the technology supporting the SmartVista Switch running on an HP NonStop platform and illustrated the significantly lower TCO and speed to market that a SmartVista solution could deliver. Recognizing that migration risk mitigation was essential the attendees were given a detailed overview of BPC’s Professional Services capabilities and the approach taken in migration projects.
