When it comes to (down)loading incoming interface files into SmartVista Back-Office, and uploading outgoing interface files from Back-Office to off-line interfaces so that they can be picked up by external systems, SmartVista Back-Office relies on file naming and location conventions and on software processes that will be run by an operator or as part of a batch script, examples of which are listed in the next two paragraphs.
