The SmartVista Processing Disputes and Exceptions module provides forms to create fraud reports for the Card Schemes and free-format messages to other Card Scheme members, inasmuch as this capability is supported by Card Scheme standards.

As an example, there is a form to enter Visa TC40 (Visa Fraud Advice Transaction) messages that Visa requires for every case of fraudulent or unauthorised activity with a card, such as card reported lost/stolen, card not received (when mailed), card issued on the basis of a fraudulent application, issuer or acquirer reported counterfeit, fraudulent use of an account number, etc. Another form offers a capability to enter reports to MasterCard's System to Avoid Fraud Effectively (SAFE). Users can also generate Europay 1644 Message to Member messages. These are used extensively by ECCSS for INET reporting and may also be used by Europay and by Europay members to exchange free text messages. Visa TC50 Message to Member format is also supported.

SmartVista Processing Disputes and Exceptions provides full support for Visa TC32 Risc Management Transactions that allow acquirers to update and enquire about the current status of a merchant using the VisaNet National Merchant Alert Service (NMAS).
