Fees are commissions and charges that can be withdrawn from customers per transactions or on a regular basis, flat or based on the account balance or transaction amount. Fees are held at Card and Account levels as references to the Fee Schemes that include all Fees that will apply to this card and account. Before a Fee can be included in a Fee Scheme, it has to be set up as a separate database entry.
Setting up an individual Fee includes specifying the Fee Type, the effective date range, the amount range and one of the following Fee Calculation Methods:
By joining several Fees spanning adjacent amount ranges in a Fee Scheme, complex balance-based fee structures can be configured and applied.
Penalty fees can be set up to take effect upon occurrence or non-occurrence of undesired conditions, immediately and/or after specified periods, such as for Overdraft, Late Payment + 30 Days, Late Payment + 60 Days, etc.
