SmartVista Processing Solution Overview
The SmartVista EMV component provides full functionality for issuing and acquiring EMV compliant Visa and MasterCard/Europay card products. Its built-in interfaces with off-the-shelf Thales e-Security software and equipment for data encryption and card personalisation will allow you, quickly and easily, to start issuing and ensure acceptance of chip cards for a vast array of EMV compliant products, such as Visa Smart Debit Credit, Visa Cash DES, Visa Cash RSA, M/CHIP Select, M/CHIP Lite, M/CHIP MSI, UKIS, etc.

The EMV oriented functions supported by SmartVista Front-End include:

  • On-line EMV compliant terminal transaction processing.

  • Off-line EMV compliant terminal transaction registration.

  • ARQC or TC/AAC verification.

  • ARPC generation.

  • MAC generation for message security.

  • DAC verification.

  • Dynamic number verification.

  • Message integrity verification.

  • Secure integrity checked message generation
An EMV extension has been developed for the ISO 8583 based POS communication protocol supported by major vendors of banking equipment, such as Bull, Ingenico, Hypercom and Verifone. The ATM interface supports an EMV version of the NCR NDC+ protocol.

SmartVista Back-Office provides for the issuing of EMV compliant cards and EMV transaction processing, supporting such EMV oriented functions as:

  • Cardholder information collection and preparation for loading to the chip card.

  • Product profile customisation for multiple chip products.

  • Clearing of EMV transactions with payments networks.
