SmartVista Processing Solution Overview
SmartVista Front-End keeps its own database of customer cards, accounts and limits to perform on-line operation between daily (or more frequent) updates from the SmartVista Back-Office.

Each card may be associated with up to 8 accounts of the following 4 account types:

  • Checking,

  • Savings,

  • Credit,

  • Other,
i.e., up to 32 accounts in total. Each of these accounts can be made available to On-Us transactions.

The following card and accounts limits are supported:

  • ATM cash withdrawal amount limit (by card and/or account);

  • POS transaction amount limit (by card and/or account);

  • total debits limit (by card);

  • transaction number limit (by card) for financial transactions;

  • transaction number limit (by card) for non-financial transactions;

  • cash and funds transfer limits for any types of devices (optional, by card and/or account).
Limits can also be set:

  • by customer

  • by terminal

  • by group of terminals

  • by Merchant

  • by Institution
Separate limits are supported for stand-in transactions. Limits are tracked within limit cycles that can be set up separately for different cards. Limit cycles may be based on specified start and end dates, or on standard time periods, such as a monthly credit card cycle.
