Cards and Customer Accounts are created as a result of Customer Application processing and remain in the database even after expiry. SmartVista will know how to process them by their status, which can be:

for Accounts, whether Issuer or Acquirer: Active; Frozen; Closed; Suspended; ATM Transactions Only; POS Transactions Only; Deposits Only; In Collections; etc.;
for Cards: Active; Inactive, Call Issuer; Pending; Deleted.

Note that this is the Card Status for card management: SmartVista supports another status attribute for card transaction processing, Hot Card Status, which may take the following values: Valid Card; Call Issuer; Warm Card; Do Not Honour; Honour with ID; Not Permitted; Lost Card, Capture; Stolen Card; Call Security; Invalid Card; Pick Up Card, Special Condition.
