Ad-Hoc Reports are generated on-line and reflect results of on-the-fly calculations based on customer, account and transaction data held in the database at this point in time. These reports can be run as a batch job or using an on-line GUI form. They are created as files that can be viewed from a GUI form, printed out or presented as an HTML document for web access.

Ad-Hoc Reports are very useful for instant inquiry but do not guarantee absolute identity if run at different times, as production data may change as a result of adjustments, rollbacks, etc.
