Actively developing its business in Ukraine, BPC Banking Technologies traditionally sponsored the 8th International Conference Payment Card which took place on 4-7 June 2008 at the International Exhibition Centre in Kyiv, Ukraine. The main goal of the event was to inform financial market representatives on Ukrainian card and credit industry trends and recent technological innovations for retail banking business.

The Conference also covered the latest cashless and credit payment trends, scoring programs and credit bureaus development, security and fraud combating issues and reviewed the main phases of EMV migration in Ukraine and CEMEA region and the modern technological platforms and solutions for the financial sphere.

During the conference BPC introduced to the Ukrainian market its key product - a comprehensive, state-of-the-art family of closely integrated software applications designed to meet the needs of organisations involved in the processing of electronic payments based on plastic cards, smart chip cards and other personal payment tools. Within the conference Vasily Volynsky, Director of the Ukrainian branch of BPC, delivered a speech covering the modern approaches to the implementation of the technological platform for card and e-payments business. The Conference and Exhibition visitors also were able to get more information on SmartVista features and BPC projects at the company’s stand or during the company’s workshop.
