BPC supports CCAP fraud combating initiative at the Southeast Asian Cross Border Fraud Convention

On February 29th – March 1st 2008 BPC Banking Technologies will take part in the Southeast Asian Cross Border Fraud Convention, one of the most important card industry events in Southeast Asia organized by Credit Card Association of the Philippines (CCAP). The convention which will be held at Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu will gather 14 CCAP member banks including Allied Bank, AIG Credit Cards, Bankard, Banco de Oro, Bank of the Philippine Islands, Citibank, East West Bank, HSBC, Metrobank Card Corp, One Card International, PNB, Standard Chartered Bank, Union Bank of the Philippines and SB Cards/Security Bank from the Philippines and other delegates from Southeast Asian Region.
The Convention will focus on card business risk management and fraud control in the region and BPC will contribute to this event as the Platinum Sponsor as the company realizes and supports its highest educational relevance for financial organizations tending to reduce card related fraud costs.
While card usage and transaction volumes continue to grow and financial institutions worldwide more and more suffer from the incidents of fraudulent activity, the Southeast Asian Cross Border Fraud Convention offers to its members and other Southeast Asia financial institutions an outstanding opportunity for exchanging experience and getting up-to-date picture of the modern fraud prevention tools available in the market.
At the Conference Rajan Narayan, Director BPC Asia Pacific Operations will present a speech on fraud costs reduction through the usage of flexible responsive technologies.
