Uniastrum Bank opts for BPC’s SmartVista

BPC Banking Technologies, the recognized provider of e-payment solutions for the global financial industry, has recently announced that Uniastrum Bank (Russia) has committed to BPC’s SmartVista suite of software products as a technology foundation for the bank’s card business.
Uniastrum Bank has selected SmartVista to support its immediate need to handle the growing card transaction volumes, to deliver enhanced product offering at ATMs and EFT terminals, as well as preparing its entire card processing infrastructure for future growth.
The SmartVista implementation includes support for the comprehensive debit and credit card issuing and acquiring functionality, EMV acquiring facilities, and multiple interfaces to Visa International and MasterCard Worldwide international payment schemes, sponsor banks’ processing centres, payment gateways and other banking systems.
Uniastrum Bank will leverage the SmartVista solution to aid in extending the range of value-added services available at ATMs and kiosks, including cash-in facility, funds transfers between accounts and to third party accounts, mobile and utility payments, etc.
